What's Covered?

One of the most asked DriveTime Warranty questions is, “What items are covered by the warranty on my used vehicle?” Our 36 month/36,000 mile warranty

covers major mechanical and electrical components. This includes:
Climate Control –  The compressor assembly, compressor clutch assembly, condenser, evaporator, heater core, orifice tube, electronic temperature

control programmer, blower motor, blower motor resistor, expansion valve, receiver/dryer and accumulator are all covered under the warranty.
Drive Axles – All internal lubricated parts contained within the front and rear driving axle housing, including axles, bearings, drive shaft and

u-joints are covered by the DriveTime warranty. Questions about coverage on housing seals and gaskets can be answered by a DriveTime staff member.

Generally these parts are only covered if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated moving part.
Engine – Engine parts covered include all lubricated parts contained within the engine block or cylinder heads. Internal or external electronic

control units to include Engine Control Modules and Transmission Control Modules are also covered. With the DriveTime Warranty, questions about

coverage on the water pump, radiator, fuel pump, oil pump, timing chain and gears or timing belt and timing belt tensioner are easily answered.

That's because they're all covered. The electronic steering motors and hydraulic power steering pumps, electric cooling fan motor, alternator

assembly and the starter/motor solenoid assembly also are covered.
Transmission – We cover all internal lubricated parts contained within the transmission case or transfer case under our warranty. The torque

converter, vacuum modulator, internal or external electronic control units, overdrive units, internal shaft fort and the transmission cooling system

are all taken care of. Please direct any further DriveTime Warranty questions to a DriveTime staff member and see what a difference DriveTime can

make for you.
